53-bed hospitalization unit with day- , week- and classical hospitalization beds; consultation area with 3000 to 4000 visits/year. Expertise and clinical research in various systemic diseases including scleroderma, lupus, giant-cell vasculitis and autoimmune myositis; corticosteroid therapy; autoimmune pregnancies; human lightning; chronic fatigue syndrome; rare diseases and uneasy diagnoses.

In 2014 with the coming of Professor Fain & his team new abilities will join to this unit including a reference center for angioedema and a competence center for autoimmune cytopenias.

Fields of interest

Systemic diseases: scleroderma, giant-cell vasculitis, autoimmune myositis, lupus and related diseases. Therapeutics: corticosteroids, hypervitaminemia B12, immunosuppressors, pregnancy. Others: human lightning, hiccup, chronic fatigue, rare diseases
