Immune system, Neuroinflammation and Neurodegenerative diseases (IN2)
description
The IN2 laboratory has long been interested in the involvement of adaptive immune responses in prion diseases, and more recently in Alzheimer's disease.
Our main current research topics are the following :
- Studies of CD4+ T cell responses in mouse experimental models of AD, including construction of TCR-transgenic lines as sources of naive cells specific for amyloid-beta peptide and Tau protein.
- Human clinical studies: A project supported by Roche and AP-HP, coordinated by Marie Sarazin, is aimed at identifying immune biomarkers at early stages of Alzheimer's disease (mild cognitive impairment). Another french collaborative project is based on fine analyses of antibodies specific for pathogenic misfolded proteins.
Fields of interest
Alzheimer’s disease, mouse models, cognitive functions, adaptive immunity, CD4+ T cells, TCR-transgenic, regulatory T cells, neuroinflammation, antibody
